Well... what a week it's been!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who's been so patient while the UK decided to turn into an oven. ❤️
As many of you know, Guinea Gourmet Treats isn't a huge warehouse with air conditioning and conveyor belts. It's me, packing every order by hand. During the hottest days of the heatwave, the temperatures in my workspace became unbearable, so I made the decision to slow things down rather than risk compromising quality (or passing out into a pile of forage!).
The good news is...
🎉 The temperatures have finally dropped!
That means I've been able to get back to doing what I love, and the packing table has been incredibly busy tonight.

Alongside those, I've been busy restocking plenty of other favourites and catching up with outstanding orders.
Orders are back to normal
The first batch of packed orders will be leaving tomorrow morning, and from this point onwards we're back to our normal turnaround times.

A little family update...
Away from the packing table, life has been just as chaotic! Between the school holidays beginning, keeping the children entertained, surviving the heat, and trying to juggle family life with running a business, it's definitely been one of those weeks where there simply weren't enough hours in the day.
Thankfully, things are beginning to settle down now, which means I can get back into a proper routine with packing orders, making fresh forage, writing new educational content, and working on some exciting products I've been planning behind the scenes.
