Rescue Donation Scheme

Handmade at Heart, Rooted in Rescue

Transparent, welfare‑led support for UK small‑animal rescues.

We match donations where possible, send tailored forage/enrichment boxes, and publish a simple public ledger so you can see the impact.

How It Works

How the scheme works

  1. Supporters can add a donation at the bottom of any shop page, or via the Rescue Hub.

  2. We track donations for each rescue.

  3. When a rescue’s donations reach about £20+, we send a full donation box (we cover postage).

  4. If sales are good, I also add in extra treats — so the more you share, the more I can help.

This keeps boxes full, postage efficient, and donations consistent. Everyone wins: donors see their impact, rescues get supplies, and animals get enrichment.

Donation Options

 Donation options available

  • £1 – 1 item

  • £2 – 2 items

  • £5 – Small bundle

  • £10 – Medium bundle

  • £20 – Large bundle

All priced lower than retail so donations go further. We cover postage once a box is ready to send.

What We Ask from Rescues

Your role in the scheme

  • Share the scheme regularly with your supporters.

  • Encourage them to donate at checkout or via the Rescue Hub.

  • Post photos/videos of the donations being received/used and tag @GuineaGourmetTreats.

  • Provide reliable contact and delivery details so boxes reach you without delay.

The more you share, the quicker your donation box fills — and the more I can match with extras when sales are strong.

 What’s Inside a Box?

What’s inside a box?

  • Freshly made, science-backed forages and treats, tailored for rescue animals: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, degus, gerbils, rats, mice, tortoises, parakeets, green iguanas, hedgehogs, chickens — and yes, Giant African Snails too.

We prioritise variety, enrichment, and gut-friendly choices. Specific requests can be accommodated where possible.
