A Busy Few Days Behind the Scenes at GGT
It's been a busy few days here at Guinea Gourmet Treats, balancing home education, customer orders, product development, foraging, and all the day-to-day jobs that go on behind the scenes.
🌿 New Forage & Blend Development
I've been continuing work on several new forage blends, including:
- Sweet Calm & Digestive – featuring sweet potato, cranesbill, dead nettle, cow parsley and lavender.
- Clear Flow Forage – a botanical blend designed to support bladder and urinary health.
- Ongoing work refining ingredient combinations, feeding guidance, and species suitability across our growing range.
As always, every blend is built around natural ingredients, nutritional purpose, and enrichment value rather than simply mixing plants together.

- Planning upcoming seasonal forage releases.
Keeping stock fresh, varied and nutritionally useful remains one of the biggest priorities at GGT.

📚 Home Education & Business Balance
Many customers know that this year has also brought a new adventure: home educating Ty.
Finding a balance between running GGT and building a flexible learning environment has been challenging, rewarding and exhausting all at once.
The last few days have involved teaching business concepts, budgeting, environmental discussions, practical life skills and independent learning projects, all while packing orders and managing the website.
It's certainly been busy, but it's also a reminder that learning doesn't only happen in classrooms and small businesses don't stop growing just because life gets complicated.
