A spooky woodland browse created especially for Halloween, combining two leafy tree browses with wild Herb Robert and a colourful scattering of orange, crimson and rose.
Bone Yard Browse starts with a proper leafy base of hazel and willow, giving the mix plenty of different shapes, scents and textures to explore.
Herb Robert adds a smaller wild botanical element with its distinctive leaves and aroma, while dried carrot, hibiscus and rose petals create the Halloween finish — flashes of pumpkin orange, deep red and scattered floral colour amongst the darker leaves.
The decoration stays deliberately small, keeping 88% of the recipe as leafy browse and wild forage.
A Halloween mix that looks the part without relying on artificial colours, sugary fruit or novelty ingredients. ππ

πΎ Suitable For
πΉ Guinea Pigs
π° Rabbits
Herb Robert is one of the main botanicals in this recipe, so the labelled species list stays intentionally focused rather than assuming suitability across every small animal.
π₯ Species-Specific Feeding Guide
Offer as complementary forage alongside the normal balanced diet and fresh drinking water.
-
πΉ Guinea Pigs: 1–2 tsp, 2–3× weekly
-
π° Rabbits: Small handful, 2–3× weekly
Scatter through hay or add to forage trays to encourage natural searching and browsing.
Introduce unfamiliar botanicals gradually.
Rabbits and guinea pigs should continue to have unlimited suitable hay or grass available at all times.
Because the blend contains dried carrot, use it as part of a varied forage rotation rather than feeding large quantities every day.
