A dark, leafy seasonal forage inspired by tangled autumn hedgerows, finished with a delicate scattering of rose petals for colour, texture and a little Halloween magic. 🎃🌹

Hedgerow Spell combines wild leafy forage with tree browse, aromatic blackcurrant leaf and echinacea to create a varied seasonal blend full of different scents, shapes and textures.

Common hogweed forms the main leafy base, while ash leaf adds a larger, more structured browse element. Blackcurrant leaf brings another distinctive aroma and texture, with echinacea adding further botanical variety.

Finally, a light 5% rose-petal scatter adds flashes of colour without turning the blend into a flower-heavy forage.

The result is a proper botanical mix that just happens to look wonderfully witchy too. 🌿🧙‍♀️

Offer as complementary forage alongside the normal balanced diet and fresh drinking water.

• 🐹 Guinea Pigs: 1–2 tsp, 2–3× weekly

• 🐰 Rabbits: Small handful, 2–3× weekly

Scatter through hay or add to a forage tray to encourage natural searching and browsing.

Introduce unfamiliar botanicals gradually.

Rabbits and guinea pigs should continue to have unlimited suitable hay or grass available at all times.

Use as part of a varied forage rotation rather than feeding large quantities of a single botanical blend.

It must never be confused with giant hogweed or other potentially dangerous members of the same plant family.
