Plan It • Price It • Make It | Real-Life Learning Project Pack
Turn something they actually want to do into meaningful learning. 🌿
Plan It • Price It • Make It is a flexible Learning Sideways project designed for children who learn best when there is a genuine reason behind the work.
Instead of beginning with “Today we're doing budgeting”, the learner begins with something they actually want to make, organise, plan or do.
Maybe they want to bake a cake, organise a movie night, redesign part of their bedroom, plan a picnic, make something, arrange a gaming night or organise a day out.
From there, the learning happens naturally.
They'll need to plan it, research it, price it, solve problems, work within a budget, make decisions and adapt when things don't quite go to plan.
🌱 Learning naturally woven in
Depending on the project your child chooses, they can explore:

🌿 Learning Sideways
The aim isn't to disguise schoolwork as something fun.
It's to start with real life, curiosity and purpose — and recognise the learning already hiding inside it.
The worksheet serves the learner. The learner doesn't serve the worksheet.
