🌹 100% Pure Rose Petal Topper

A simple, colourful topper made from 100% dried rose petals. Scatter a little through suitable forage to add a different scent and texture to feeding time.

No fillers, added sugar or flavourings.

Ingredients and pack size

100% dried rose petals. One generous scoop, approximately 1 cup / 20g. Petal size and settling affect volume; this describes the pack, not a serving.

Suggested feeding guide

For healthy adults. These are cautious introductory suggestions, not tested feeding rates for this product.

• Rabbit: start with a small fingertip pinch of petal fragments, once or twice a week, scattered through hay.
• Guinea pig: start with a small fingertip pinch of petal fragments, once or twice a week, scattered through hay.
• Chinchilla: start with a small fingertip pinch of dry petal fragments, once a week, offered with the usual hay.
• Hermann’s tortoise: start with a small fingertip pinch of petal fragments, once a week, moistened and mixed into the usual varied fresh weeds and leaves.
• Greek / spur-thighed tortoise (Testudo graeca): start with a small fingertip pinch of petal fragments, once a week, moistened and mixed into the usual varied fresh weeds and leaves.
• Horsfield’s / Russian tortoise: start with a small fingertip pinch of petal fragments, once a week, moistened and mixed into the usual varied fresh weeds and leaves.

A small pinch means a little loose material between two fingertips. Begin with a few fragments and count these petals within the total supplementary foods offered; do not add a full extra portion of every topper or blend.

Keep unlimited suitable hay and fresh water available for rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas. Guinea pigs still need their normal dietary vitamin C provision. For tortoises, petals are an occasional addition, not a replacement for the main diet, water, calcium provision or appropriate UVB. Remove moistened leftovers after the feeding session.

Feeding amounts for other species are not established here. Seek species-specific advice before offering to birds, other reptiles, snails or other small mammals.

Follow veterinary advice for young, pregnant, unwell or diet-restricted animals. Stop a new food if it causes digestive changes. Reduced appetite or droppings in rabbits, guinea pigs or chinchillas needs prompt veterinary advice; a floral topper is not a treatment for poor appetite.

Simple ways to use

Scatter the suggested portion through hay or a clean forage tray, or mix it with other suitable leaves. One ingredient makes it easy to see what you are adding.

Storage

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Follow the pack’s best-before and storage guidance, and discard damp, musty or mouldy petals.
